My (long overdue) half of a nuzlocke quicktrade (that turned into not such a quicktrade, since she did such a pretty piece for me) that I did with =ShadeofShinon. She asked for Thorn (Lairon) and Vermundr (Beautifly). When I first started sketching this, Thorn was still an Aron. That's how long it's been since she finished her half! I'm so sorry that I'm such a slowpoke, Shinon! D':
And I hope you like this. It was much more fun getting to draw Thorn as a Lairon, actually. I can't wait to see him as an Aggron! Hopefully he'll survive. ;A;
I thought it would be cute to have Vermundr sitting on his head. I'm not sure how close they are, really, but they seem like they could be pretty good friends, even if Vermundr has been a little bit separated from the team for a while due to Beautifly's slow-evolving moveset.
I had a lot of fun drawing these two, though. I really hope you like it, Shinon! I'm sorry it's not as elaborate as the picture you drew me. :C But I hope you enjoy it anyways~

I absolutely love this picture! It certainly seems that Vermundr and Thorn would be the best friends. It's a little sad they didn't have much time to spend with each other, I bet they could've become really good friends. :<
I think it's adorable that Vermundr's sitting on Thorn's head.
Their expressions are so nice and it certainly feels like they got along really well. Also, you drew Vermundr so beautifully that when I first saw this picture I never wanted to draw him again because you did it so much better than I did. :'D I just love how you drew his head. And Thorn's armor looks really great, too!
The gray tones look so nice and I also find it very nice that both Thorn and Vermundr have blue eyes. I find it really nice that you coloured only the eyes. Somehow it makes it feel more like the two were close, that they have something in common.
